This article guides you through downloading and installing Adobe Acrobat Pro once an active subscription license has been assigned to your Columbia College account. The new subscription model ensures you always have access to the most up-to-date features and security enhancements.

1 Open Your Adobe Welcome Email
Once an Adobe Acrobat Pro license is assigned to your account, you will receive an invitation email sent directly from Adobe.
●Locate the email titled "Getting started with Acrobat Pro" in your Columbia College inbox.
●Click the blue Get started button inside the email to proceed.
●Note: If you already have an active license assigned, you can access the Adobe Enterprise Download Portal directly.

2 Sign In with Your Institutional Account
You will be redirected to the Adobe sign-in portal. Authenticate using your Columbia College credentials.
●Enter your institutional email address (username@ccis.edu) and your myPortal password.
●If prompted to choose an account type, select Company or School Account.
●Complete Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) if prompted.
3 Download the Installer for Your Operating System
Once logged in, you will be taken to the Adobe download page. Choose the installer package compatible with your operating system.
●Windows: Download the 64-bit version installer.
●macOS: Download the Unified installer.

4 Extract and Run the Installer
Follow the installation wizard to complete setup on your device.
●Locate the downloaded ZIP file and extract all contents to your desktop.
●Open the extracted folder, double-click Setup, and enter your administrative credentials if prompted.
●Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
●Once the installation completes, click Launch Now to open Adobe Acrobat Pro.

Important Notes
- Acrobat Reader Replacement: Installing Acrobat Pro will automatically replace and remove standard Acrobat Reader from your computer.
- Installation Time: The installation process may take several minutes depending on your network and computer hardware.
- Account Sync: If prompted after launching, sign out and sign back in with your
@ccis.edu credentials to ensure the subscription license attaches properly.
