How to - Setting Up Authorized Users in the Student ePayment Portal

Overview

Students can grant an authorized user — such as a parent or guardian — access to their ePayment portal to view billing statements, 1098-T statements, and/or payment history. This guide walks through how to add and manage authorized users from within myPortal.

1 Log Into myPortal and Navigate to ePayment

Access the ePayment portal through myPortal using one of two methods.

●Log into myPortal and select Make a payment in the Shortcuts section on the left-hand side.

●Alternatively, type "payment" into the top search bar and select the result.

2 Open the Authorized Users Section

From the ePayment homepage, navigate to the Authorized Users management area.

●While on the My Profile main tab, select Authorized Users.

3 Enter the Authorized User's Email and Set Access Permissions

Provide the authorized user's email address and specify what they will be permitted to view.

●Enter the authorized user's email address in the provided field.

●Select the appropriate access level (billing statements, 1098-T, and/or payment history).

●Click Continue to proceed.

4 Review and Accept the Authorized User Agreement

You must read and agree to the terms before the authorized user is added to your account.

●Read the Authorized User Agreement and check the box to confirm your agreement.

●Optionally, print the agreement for your records.

●Click Continue to finalize the addition.

5 Confirmation and Viewing Your Authorized Users

Once the process is complete, the authorized user will receive an email with login and viewing instructions.

●An email will be automatically sent to the authorized user containing login and access instructions.

●To view your currently authorized users, follow Steps 1 and 2 above, then review the Authorized Users list on that screen.

⚠ Important Note

Only the student can add or remove authorized users from their ePayment account. Authorized users will only have access to the specific information the student selects — they cannot make changes to the student's account.
