You can access your course through the "D2L Brightspace & My Classes Widget" on your myPortal dashboard. Links to courses you are enrolled in will appear in the widget about a week before the course starts. Clicking on the "My Classes" button (see screenshot below) will take you to the D2L Brightspace My Home page.
Alternatively you can find your classes in the "Shortcuts" section along the left side. Here you would look for the link that says "D2L Brightspace" (see image below, note: shortcuts that are available may vary depending on student or employment status).
