The Student Accessibility Resources (SAR) office at Columbia College is dedicated to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning environment. They offer academic accommodations to empower students and support their academic success. The office also provides resources for parents and guardians to help support their student's journey. This Knowledge Base article will cover how to access the Student Accessibility Resources (AIM) Tool in myPortal.

Accessing the Student Accessibility Resources AIM portal.

Navigate to your myPortal account
- Open your web browser and go to your Columbia College myPortal dashboard.

Select the search bar and type in "SAR"
- In the search bar at the top of the myPortal page, type "SAR" and press Enter.

Select the "Student Accessibility Resources (AIM)" Tool
- From the search results, click on the "Student Accessibility Resources (AIM)" tool.

Auto-Sign In
- Now that the SAR portal is behind Azure, you should be automatically signed into the SAR portal and can proceed.
- If not, you will select Log In and sign into your myPortal account.

Complete the form if you haven't already
- If you haven't filled out the required request form, do so and wait 24 hours before attempting to access SAR resources in the portal.

Try suggested troubleshooting steps
- If you encounter issues accessing this site you can try resetting your myPortal password, clearing your cache or cookies, or reaching out to the Student Accessibility Office using the information below.
