Overview
The purpose of this article is to walk you through the process of downloading and installing your Adobe Acrobat Pro application once you have been assigned a license. This process is for the new Adobe Acrobat Pro which has moved to a subscription model. This new subscription model will help to ensure that you always have access to the most up to date version of Adobe Acrobat Pro.

How to:
1. Once you have requested access to Adobe Pro, you will need to download and install it. When the license has been assigned to you, you will get an email that looks like the following:

- This email will come directly from Adobe and will be titled "Getting started with Acrobat Pro
- Click on the blue Get started button to continue.
- If you already have a license use this link to be taken to the download page.
2. You will now be directed to a sign in page. Sign in using your username@ccis.edu and your myPortal password. (You may be prompted to MFA during this part as well)
3. Once signed in, you will be taken to a download page.

- For Windows devices Download the 64-bit version and run the installer.

- For Mac devices download the Unified installer.
4. follow the prompts to install the application on your computer. Once installed you will see the following screen.

- Click launch now to go ahead and get started using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
- Note #1 - Installing Acrobat Pro will remove Acrobat Reader from your device.
- Note #2 - The installation process can take a while. So be prepared to wait a few minutes while the application installs.
