Overview
This article outlines how to enable/disable digital signage, upload and assign content, create playlists, and configure display settings within Zoom Rooms. To access this content in Zoom you will need to be a Zoom Digital Signage Admin. To request access please refer here.

To Sign into the Zoom Web Portal:
- On the sign in screen click SSO (Icon with black key)
- Sign in same as you would for myportal.
How to:
Section 1: Enable or Disable Digital Signage (Zoom Admin only)
Steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Navigate to Room Management > Zoom Rooms.

- Select the desired location, floor, or room from the left-side hierarchy.
- To edit all rooms, select the HQ icon and click Account Settings.
- Click Room Settings at the top of the selected location.

- Go to the Digital Signage tab.

- Scroll to the Enable section and toggle Digital Signage on or off.
- Disabling signage preserves existing content/settings for future use.

Section 2: Upload Content to the Content Library
Steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Navigate to Room Management > Content Library.

- Click Add Content.
- Select the desired content type (image, URL, etc.).

- Click Add Items.
- Uploaded items will be available across the account for use in any location.
Section 3: Add Content to a Location, Floor, or Room
Steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Navigate to Room Management > Zoom Rooms.

- Select the desired location, floor, or room.

- Click Edit next to the selected item.

- Go to the Digital Signage tab.

- Scroll to Default Content List and click Add Content.

- Choose content from the following tabs:
- My Computer: Upload files directly.
- URL: Add a website or streaming link.
- Instructions: Use pre-loaded Zoom Room controller images.
- Content Library: Select previously uploaded items.
- Zoom Assets: Add Zoom Phone wallboards.
- Playlist: Apply existing digital signage playlists.
- Workspace Reservation: Display floor maps.
- Workvivo: Add Workvivo TV content.
- Google Drive / OneDrive / Dropbox / Box: Select cloud-hosted content.
- Apps: Add apps from Zoom Marketplace.
- Click Add Items.

- (Optional) Adjust content name, duration, and order.
- Click Save.

Note: To revert custom signage settings to account defaults, go to the Digital Signage tab and click Reset.

Section 4: Create a Digital Signage Playlist
Steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Navigate to Room Management > Content Library.

- Click Add > Create Playlist.

- Enter a playlist name, then click Save.

- Click Choose Files to upload images/videos.

- Click Add Item to finalize uploads.
- Preview the playlist.
- Click Publish Playlist.

- Select target locations or rooms, then click Publish.
Section 5: Edit an Existing Playlist
Steps:
- Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
- Navigate to Room Management > Content Library.

- In the Playlist section, click the playlist name.

- Click Add Content to upload more items.

- (Optional) Adjust name, duration, and order.
- To change assigned locations, click Publish Playlist, select new targets, and click Publish.

Note: Changes apply automatically to all assigned locations.
Section 6: Manage Content Name, Order, and Duration
Steps:
- Access the content list for a location or playlist.
- To reorder:
- Drag and drop items or use the ellipsis (…) > Move Up/Down.
- To rename:
- Click (…) > Rename, enter a new name, and click Save.
- To delete:
- Click (…) > Remove or select multiple items > Delete Selected.
- To change duration:
- Hover over the time, click the pencil icon, enter new duration, and click OK.
- Click Save.
Section 7: Configure Content Settings and Layout
Steps:
- Access the content list for a location/floor/room.
- Under Mode, select:
- Standard: One item at a time.
- Video & Content: Display video and image simultaneously.
- HDMI: Show content from an external device.
- (Optional) Click Customize Display > Edit Weather to show local conditions.
- Only available in Video & Content mode.
- (Optional) Lock settings using the lock icon.
- Click Save.
Note: HDMI mode is supported on Windows and Appliance Kiosks (v6.0.0+).
Section 8: Set Display Period
Steps:
- In the Display Period section, enter minutes before/after scheduled meetings to show signage.
- Click Save.
Tip: Consider how this interacts with Device Operation Time settings.
Use Control with Schedule for idle signage, or Control with Idle Time-Out for power-saving with limited signage display.
Section 9: Mute Content Audio
Steps:
- Enable Mute to silence all signage content audio.
Image and Video formats that support by digital signage.
Image specifications
- Format: JPG/JPEG or 24-bit PNG,1920px by 1080px
- Minimum width: 960px
- Maximum width: 1920px
- Minimum height: 540px
- Maximum height is 1920px
- Maximum image size: 15 MB
Video specifications
- Format: MOV, MP4, AVI, WMV, or H.264
- Maximum video size: 1GB
Recommended resolution: 720p or 1080p
