Overview
This article is to help with how to update your emergency address in Zoom if you are on a home network.
Issue
When Zoom detects that someone is not on the campus network it will display a red icon and prompt to update the emergency address (as indicated in the following picture by the green arrow).

How To:
1. Sign in to the Zoom desktop app.
2. Click the red icon in the top-right corner. Zoom will open a prompt asking to confirm your emergency address, select "Wrong, update it".

3. Zoom will open a window with a dropdown menu to select an existing emergency address and a link to "Add a New Emergency Address", click that link.

4. Fill in your personal emergency address for your current location.

5. Your new emergency address should now be selectable from the dropdown menu and you can click save.
