VPN - Client will not Open

Overview

Employee having issue with the VPN client not opening on their work device.
They may need to uninstall the VPN client software from the device due to files being corrupted.

How to:

  1. In the Search Windows box in the taskbar type "Add or remove programs" and click the corresponding result that appears.


     
  2. Highlight Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client (you may need to search for this application by typing in "Cisco")



     
  3. In the menu above, click Uninstall
     
  4. Restart the computer
     
  5. Reinstall the software. Refer to this Knowledge Base Article for software installation.
     
  6. If the client still does not open after re-install, submit a general help request ticket and include the steps you took to resolve the issue.
