Overview
A Student reports they are receiving an error message "Business Office Restriction. Call Enrollment Services Canter, ext 7252." The Student is unable to register for classes.
How to:
This error means that the student has a restriction in PERC that must be cleared before registration is allowed.
This is usually due to the student owing some amount of money and/or has a defaulted payment plan.
If the student claims they are cleared by ESC/Business Office, the system doesn't see it until the overnight process runs. The student can wait until the next day to register in SS or submit an Assisted Registration form through CougarTrack Students -> Academics -> Registration - > Assisted Registration
The student should still contact ESC if they are having issues after clearing the payment issue. If there is an issue with the account, ESC or the Business Office will submit a ticket for the student.
