Overview
This article is for anyone that is needing to know how to setup and run a Microsoft Teams meeting. The following steps is for any Columbia College staff member that has Teams access.
How to:
You can make one-on-one or group calls with anyone in your organization directly from a chat without having to host a team meeting. These calls are private and won't appear in any team conversation. Entries for the calls will appear in your chat, though.

Go to your chat list and select New chat
to start a new conversation.

Type the name or names into the To field at the top of your new chat.

Select Video call
or Audio call
to start a call.

There are different ways to make a call in Teams:

From a one-on-one or group chat, select Audio call
or Video call
.

In a one-on-one chat, select More meet now options (the dropdown arrow) next to Audio call
, and choose another number to call if it's available.

In the search box, type "/call" and who you'd like to reach. Select Enter to start the call.

Hover over someone's profile photo anywhere in Teams, and select Audio call
from their profile card.
View call history

Select Calls
on the left side of Teams.

View all calls in your call history, or select Voicemail to view your voicemails.

To return someone's call from your history, choose who you want, select More actions
> Call back.
