OnBase 24.1 Outlook Plug-In while using Outlook 365

This article gives staff information regarding using the OnBase Outlook Plug-in feature if they are on the Outlook 365 version.

Many staff members utilize the OnBase Outlook Plug-In to upload emails and attachments on emails to OnBase.

While using Outlook 365, the Plug-In option looks like this along the top:

When you click OnBase; the top ribbon changes to this:

You can access OnBase documents by using Custom Queries and Retrieval as well the Workflow. You can also Import the email, attachment or both.

 

If you are using Outlook 365, and you have the “New Outlook” button checked: then you will not be able to use the OnBase Plug-In.

 

You will need to click this button “off” in order to use the Plug-In.
