Known issue:
In OnBase 24.1, Excel documents now open in a separate window.
How to fix:
Viewing an Excel Document
Excel now opens in a separate window. In retrieval when you click on a document to open it for viewing, the viewer window opens but the Excel document does not display. An error message will display. An additional window will open that displays the Excel Document. That window might open behind the viewer window or the Unity client but will be in the system tray.
After viewing the Excel document in the Excel window, you can close the Excel window and the viewer window in any order.
Importing an Excel Document
Due to changes in Microsoft, Excel now opens in a separate window from the Preview window and cannot be imported as an Excel document. You will have to convert the document to a PDF in order to Import.
