Telecom - Connect Headsets for Training Purposes

Overview

You need instructions for connecting two Plantronics Savi 740 headsets for training purposes.

How to:

To accomplish this, you will need to do the following:

1.        Caller 1 is on a call.
2.        Caller 2 places their headset on Caller 1’s base.
3.        Caller 1 will need to wait for a beep (~15-30 secs), then hit the button on the side of their headset.
4.        Caller 2 picks up their headset from the base and will be connected to  Caller 1’s call. 
5.        Caller 1 or 2 may mute their headset by hitting the button on the back of their headset.

Note that when you accept or end a call, you will need to use the softkeys on your Cisco IP Phone, rather than using the button on the side of the headset, otherwise it will terminate the paired connection, and you will have to reconnect the headsets.
