Employees must create a PIN before using a desktop phone or calling in to check and manage voicemail messages. This guide walks you through viewing your current PIN or resetting it via the Zoom App or the Zoom Web Portal.

⚠ Checking Voicemail from Another Phone
If you want to check your voicemail from a different phone, you must first enable the "Allow callers to check voicemail" option. This setting can be found in the Call Handling section of your Zoom Phone settings (scroll up from PIN Code).
Step-by-Step Guide
Method 1: Via the Zoom App
1 Open Zoom Settings
Access your Zoom settings from the main application window.
●Click your profile icon (or gear icon) in the upper right corner of the Zoom app.
●Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
2 Navigate to Phone Settings
Locate the Phone section within your Zoom settings panel.
●Select Phone from the left-hand navigation menu.
3 Open Your Account Online
Launch the Zoom web portal directly from within the app.
●On the right-hand side of the window, select My Account Online.
●Sign in with your Columbia College (ccis.edu) username and password when prompted.
4 View or Reset Your PIN
Locate your voicemail PIN settings in the Zoom web portal.
●Select Phone from the left-hand navigation menu.
●Scroll down to PIN Code and select Show or Edit.
●You can now view your current PIN or reset it to a new value.
Method 2: Via the Zoom Web Portal
1 Go to the Zoom Web Portal
Open a browser and navigate directly to your Zoom profile page.
●Visit https://zoom.us/profile.
●Sign in with your Columbia College (ccis.edu) username and password.
2 Navigate to Phone Settings
Access your Zoom Phone settings from the portal navigation.
●Select Phone from the left-hand navigation menu.
3 View or Reset Your PIN
Locate your voicemail PIN settings and make any needed changes.
●Scroll down to PIN Code and select Show or Edit.
●You can now view your current PIN or reset it to a new value.
