Microsoft Office 365 - Install for Employee


Columbia College has purchased the rights to use the latest version of Office for campus-related purposes at home under its Microsoft Campus Subscription Enrollment.

All faculty, full-time and adjunct, are included under this license agreement. Part-time employees are also eligible on the condition that they have to use Microsoft Office as part of their job to qualify for the home Use Program. You can install Office on up to 5 PCs, or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones.

How to Access

To get office follow these simple steps:

  2. Enter your username with and myPortal password. Note: Your username will NOT be your Cougar Mail

  3. Click Sign In.
  4. Once signed in click on Install and more and then select install Microsoft 365 apps.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  5. On the next screen click on Install Office to download and install on your device. Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
  6. If you are on a Chrome book then follow the instruction in the KB for using Office on a Chrome book. Please note that not all Chrome books support installing and office. In this case you will have to use the web version by logging into the
