OnBase - Outlook OnBase Tab Missing

Problem Description:

A user no longer sees the OnBase tab in Microsoft Outlook.

Problem Resolution:

Outlook may automatically disable the OnBase Add-In because it "caused Outlook to start slowly". However, there are no known performance issues with Outlook once it has fully opened. If Outlook disables the add-in, the user will no longer see the OnBase tab in the ribbon. To re-enable the add-in:

  1. In Outlook, click File.
  2. Click Options.
  3. Choose Add-Ins.
  4. At the bottom of the screen, there will be a dropdown box next to Manage where you will select Disabled Items.
  5. Click GO.
  6. Select the OnBase add in and click Enable.
  7. Select Close.
  8. Select Okay.
  9. If the user still does not see the OnBase tab, close and restart Outlook.
