Problem Description:
A user no longer sees the OnBase tab in Microsoft Outlook.
Problem Resolution:
Outlook may automatically disable the OnBase Add-In because it "caused Outlook to start slowly". However, there are no known performance issues with Outlook once it has fully opened. If Outlook disables the add-in, the user will no longer see the OnBase tab in the ribbon. To re-enable the add-in:
- In Outlook, click File.
- Click Options.
- Choose Add-Ins.
- At the bottom of the screen, there will be a dropdown box next to Manage where you will select Disabled Items.
- Click GO.
- Select the OnBase add in and click Enable.
- Select Close.
- Select Okay.
- If the user still does not see the OnBase tab, close and restart Outlook.
