Outlook - Accessing Shared Inboxes in Outlook for Mac

Overview

The Outlook for Mac application will not immediately populate shared inboxes that are normally auto-mapped in Windows. To see inboxes that have been shared with you, try the following:

 

How to:

1. With Outlook for Mac open, select "Outlook" on the top left toolbar, then "Settings..."

2. In the new menu that opens, select "Accounts"

3. Click on your Mail Account that should be listed at the top.

4. Select "Delegates & Sharing"

5. Select the "Shared With Me" option at the top.

6. Click the plus button at the bottom left.

7. Enter the email address of the shared inbox you want to view.

The inbox should now appear on your left sidebar in Outlook for Mac.
