Overview
If you receive an error "Authentication method 'MultiFactor, PasswordlessPhoneSignIn' by which the user authenticated with the service doesn't match requested authentication method 'Password, ProtectedTransport'. Contact the Colleague - Self-Service - PROD - Student Self Service application owner." Here are some steps to you should take to fix this issue.
How to:
Some vendors don’t allow password less sign in, which can cause errors to show up when signing into them (Fig 1.).
The Microsoft authenticator app has a built-in way to turn this on and enable it (Fig 2.).

You may see the blue link to “Use your face, fingerprint, PIN, or security key instead” instead of the one mentioned above. It’s the same thing.
